The Telangana government has released a new G.O. approving the ticket rate hike for Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2. With this approval, advance bookings will open shortly.
The premiere shows starting tomorrow at 8 PM will be priced at Rs. 600, and these special rates are permitted only for the first three days.
For regular shows, ticket prices have been increased by Rs. 50 in single screens and Rs. 100 in multiplexes, including GST. This means the new rates are Rs. 395 in multiplexes and Rs. 227 in single screens.
The G.O. also states that 20% of the additional income earned through the hike must be given to the Telugu Film Industry Employees Federation.
For this purpose, the Film Development Corporation (FDC) will create a separate account. The film is directed by Boyapati Srinu and stars Aadi Pinishetty, Samyukta, and Harshaali Malhotra, with music by Thaman.
